Rehabilitation therapy focuses on musculoskeletal problems, both acute and chronic. Utilising techniques such as massage, stretching, specific muscle re-education, and exercise, the aim of rehabilitation is to restore normal function and is tailored to an individuals sports or needs. Rehabilitation is both an addition and extension to your ongoing treatment and will be guided by your Physiotherapist, Osteopath or Doctor.
Patients work on a 1:1 basis with their therapist, motivating them to reach full rehabilitation goals set by your practitioner and to attain full fitness potential.
Felicity has over 15 years experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and has perfected her skills by working with the best. She worked in the NHS then spent 10 years working in the Military. She has also worked in the Elite Sports world in Rugby Union and in Private Practice giving her a wide experience in all kinds of conditions, especially with spinal and shoulder conditions.
Felicity also provides ante and post natal care to help expectant mothers prepare for childbirth, then to recover from this. She provides ante and post natal classes for groups up to 6 or on a 1:1 basis.
Louise's interest in fitness began after a 13 year Artistic Gymnastic career where Louise attained International status. Louise's obvious passion for sport and fitness have driven her to become a highly qualified Personal Trainer, who with over 12 years in the Health & Fitness industry has a vast amount of knowledge & experience in working with everyone from complete beginners to elite athletes.
Louise has the ability to adapt her training techniques to produce varied and challenging workouts tailored for each client's individual needs. This coupled with her enthusiasm and bubbly personality makes Louise highly motivational and a pleasure to work with.
Osteopathy focuses on total body health by treating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework, which includes the joints, muscles and spine. Its aim is to positively affect the body’s nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems.
